Susie has been unable to stand up. She borrowed money to go to the city for surgery. The doctor said it was possible that she could stand up once her body recovered.

She has been home for more than a month and is starting to use a brace to practice standing and walking.

This was very difficult for her. But she doesn't want to give up. Otherwise, she is confined to a wheelchair.
